The Xiaomi Mi Laser Projector from last September is also available in Italy, sold directly in the Mi Store (and on the official online shop) at the list price of 1,899 €. A figure that may seem high to the layman, but that is not at all if you carefully review the hardware and software potential of the product. Now the Chinese giant tries again, with a more compact and economical version, but that does not renounce to quality.
Xiaomi and Mijia have in fact unveiled a new projector (in this case in LED technology) that, however, before debuting on the market, will have to go through a crowdfunding campaign. Chinese users interested in the project will be able to start financing it from 2 January, with a starting price of only 2,199 yuan – about 280€ at the current exchange rate.
Despite its much lower price than its big brother, Xiaomi’s new compact Mi Laser Projector Lite will boast a maximum brightness of 800 ANSI Lumen, full HD native resolution, support for HDR10 technology, the ability to project images up to a diagonal of 120″ and two 10 W stereo speakers each. Before seeing it in Europe it will probably take several months, we just have to wait for the developments of this interesting device.
