As with the Nokia X6, the display has a cutout at the top where you can place the front camera, the ear piece and the distance and brightness sensors.
Despite the cutout at the top, the device also has a few millimeters wide edge at the bottom, on which the Nokia logo finds its place. Unlike its better-equipped sister model, the Nokia X5 has no Dualcam unit on the back but is also housed in an aluminum frame with glass covers on the front and back.
To date, only the key data are available for the technical basis, so that a maximum octave clock of 2.0 GHz is to be assumed for an octa-core ARM processor. In all likelihood, a chip from the MediaTek Helio P-series will be installed here again, which, thanks to its shrunken structure width, will be more economical than its predecessors and, among other things, should be able to bring support for Bluetooth 5.0.
The processor is equipped with three, four or even six gigabytes of RAM and depending on the model with 32 or 64 GB of internal flash memory. An expansion of the memory will be readily possible by means of MicroSD card slots. For the cameras HMD uses a 13-megapixel camera on the back, while an 8-megapixel sensor does its job in front. Both cameras offer a maximum of 1080P resolution, which again speaks for the use of a MediaTek processor.
The capacity of the means of USB-C and the energy to be supplied to the battery is 3000mAh with TENAA, whereby the device moves on the current level of various other conventional middle-class smartphones. The operating system is explicitly Android 8.1 called, although this new model again HMD-typical part of the Android One program should be and thus comes up with absolutely pure Android.
