The Intel Core i7-9700K processor was spotted on Geekbench ahead of its scheduled release in October with the rest of the series and confirms the performance jump over the previous generation.
The new series of Intel Core 9000 series processors are expected for the month of October and, next to the reference Intel Core i9-9900K, is the Intel Core i7-9700K variant that gives an idea of its performance after a passage via Geekbench.
Like the i9-9900K, this processor should take advantage of a welded heat dissipation capsule instead of the usual thermal paste, which should give more consistent overclocking results.
The Intel Core i7-9700K processor is expected with an 8- core / 8-thread configuration , a base clock rate of 3.6 GHz and a gateway to 4.9 GHz (on one core, and 4.6 GHz on the 8 cores) in Turbo mode, all with a TDP of 95W.
In benchmark, the processor displayed results of 6297 points in single-core test and 30 152 points in multicore test, compared with the 5800 points / 24 500 points obtained by the i7-8700K.
