Xiaomi just came out today to bag with an expected result, but not outstanding. The firm is working very well worldwide but it is possible that for investors it is not the most attractive of all.
A few days ago, surely for the Indian market, Xiaomi presented a new sub-brand, Pocophone. This new denomination, which probably lives with the Redmi and the Mi, could be focused only on the Indian market but we still do not know too many details of it. What we have known are leaks of the dimensions and characteristics of the first Pocophone.
Xiaomi Pocophone, a firm that aspires to the high range
The first Xiaomi Pocophone would be focused on offering a rival in the high range and there are several features that allow us to see it:
- LCD screen with aspect of 18: 9 and notch.
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with Adreno 630 GPU.
- 4000 mAh battery.
- Fingerprint sensor
- Double camera with optical zoom.
In addition to that we know that this phone would not carry microSD and that it would come running on Android 8.1 Oreo. As we have clarified, the smartphone code named Beryllium is a filtration. All this may not be true or even fail to launch into the market although the latter we see unlikely.
The Xiaomi Pocophone would be big, very big
As for the phone, as we see in this filtered image, it would have dimensions very similar to those of the Xiaomi Mi 8: 151 x 76 mm. If we take into account that the Mi 8 has dimensions of 154.9 x 74.8 with a screen of 6.21 inches we could get an idea of the diagonal that would incorporate this.
As for the Pocophone we have no idea when it will be launched, what price it will have, if it will be focused on the global market or if it will only end up in the Indian market. Be that as it may, it seems that it will focus on competing with the heavyweights and although Poco’s sounds cheap, it is just the opposite. The Pocophone seems a high range of the most powerful that Xiaomi will have in its catalog.
