The Chinese brand Elephone does not stop surprising us and after presenting the Elephone U Pro in Madrid now comes the time to make a good purchase. In this year’s MWC we haven’t seen too many novelties and, in fact, one of the most popular, still doesn’t reach the majority of mobile phones on the market.
Only Samsung, and now also Elephone with its U Pro, have equipped their terminals with a curved screen and the new Elephone U Pro has a real curved screen but, in addition to that, has more novelties to offer us. Undoubtedly the Elephone U Pro has many reasons to be our next purchase but there are 5 outstanding features in these handsets that everyone will like.

Back light, which reminds us very much of a brand…
One of the novelties of these Elephone is that they bring a taillight that can be illuminated in certain circumstances. The taillight is not the flash, but a light that runs through the hidden part of the Elephone logo to give the mobile phone a very exclusive and striking flash. You are in the logo and they will like it very much because they offer something different.
Notifications on your curved screen
The curved screens were created to offer some new features and the truth is that this Elephone inherits one of its origins. It is very common to see how these screens light up in isolation to provide us with notifications and reminders. It looks really good and can give us notifications when it is left on a table, face down. In the video you can see an in-depth test of the terminal.
Invisible navigation bar
Another possibility of its interface is to use a hidden navigation bar, but not one that slides and hides every time, but one that is always but unnoticed. In the video you can see how it works, doesn’t show and works really well.
Camera with emojis and more novelties
Another thing you’ll like most about this Elephone U Pro is its camera, very similar to that offered by high-end devices (although this is one of them is somewhat camouflaged). Thanks to the ArcSoft algorithm, you can take pictures of the latest generation but not only that.
The selfies camera allows you to add stickers to images and animations like other, much more expensive mobile cameras (or just like applications such as Instagram or Snapchat). It will be easy to have an augmented reality camera by adding rabbit ears, glasses, etc. It is one of the most interesting things about this terminal where the software has been very well cared for.
Side sliding menu
Finally, although not in its entirety, we still need to talk about a novelty that is also very much appreciated. Your Edge screen can offer a sidebar menu that is triggered by gestures in which we can integrate applications and shortcuts to different functions.
You want to try it? If you want to know everything that the terminal offers you can have more information in this link but, if you want to buy one, click on the button at the end where you can see it in depth.
