Snapdragon 850, the new Qualcomm processor support 5G network

Snapdragon 850

Qualcomm, one of the best-known companies of mobile processors is getting closer to launching the Snapdragon 850. Yes, as you hear, the Snapdragon 850 will be the new processor that Qualcomm intends to put on the market for new and future improvements.

The 5G network will be the spearhead of the Snapdragon 850

If you are followers of this company or of the telephony in general, you will already know that this year 2018 a “winning” processor is approaching as far as high-end terminals are concerned. That processor is none other than the Snapdragon 845 of which we have already spoken to you on occasion and which we will surely talk about thanks to the terminals that will be appearing throughout this year. Well, not having spoken and seen all that this processor has to offer, we can tell you something of what will be its successor.

The new Snapdragon 850 would be focused on the use of the new 5G network that we will have in the relatively near future. This is so because it would incorporate the new Snapdragon X50 modem that would be the real one in charge of being able to use that high speed network.

If you think about it, it could also be a very important asset not only for smartphones but also for laptops or 2-in-1 computers where being able to have a considerable speed is something to be taken into account.

When will the Snapdragon 850 come out?

Qualcomm still has plenty of time to polish and get a product according to what is expected of it, since it is not expected that the necessary infrastructure for a 5G network is ready until around 2020. Anyway, at the end of this year or more surely already entered in 2019 it will be when we see this new processor presented and if it meets the expectations that it surely creates.
