For some time we have with us the so-called Sticks and no, we are not talking about selfies sticks, but the HDMI Sticks or also known as HDMI dongles. These are devices that provide new features to our screen or monitor. Today we want to introduce you to the Higole D2 , this stick allows us to transform our screen into a computer and do everything we normally do from a laptop or desktop PC.
As it is characteristic of these devices, it has a form similar to a classic pendrive, but with the difference that it has some ports to connect other devices. This Stick has dimensions of 11.50 x 3.50 x 1.50 cm and a weight of 69 grams , so basically we can take it with us in a pocket. It is only available in one color, which is black. The casing that is responsible for wrapping all your hardware is made of plastic.
Among the connectivity that we can find in this stick we have: a port to insert memory cards, another for Micro USB, a USB 3.0, the charging (DC 5V), the switch to turn it on and off, and of course the HDMI connector for connect it to our screen. Like a laptop or desktop, these devices generate heat, so it also has several holes to let out the heat generated.
Hardware: The Higole D2 has an Intel Cherry Trail T3 Z8350 processor , this processor is quad-core and works at a frequency of 1.92 GHz. Accompanying this processor we have an Intel Gen 8-LP GPU. Therefore, it will be able to execute a good number of programs without being closed to us. As for its combination of memory, we have 2 GB of RAM type LPDDR3 and internal storage we have 32 GB. A good enough combination to share a lot of videos, music, images and other resources. Of course, 32 GB of internal storage may seem somewhat short, but the advantage is that we can expand it with the respective memory cards, yes, maximum 64 GB, a higher capacity will not accept it.
Software: The operating system that contains the Higole D2 is the popular Windows 10, as we know this operating system is able to offer us great advantages when working with it, although of course it can sometimes be restrictive in certain things. However, we can do whatever we want in it, from sharing a simple photograph to carrying out a large project that we have. Of course, we can connect to Wi – Fi, where the chip used is an RTL8723BS, the counter is that it does not accept 5G.
