Design and screen
We are talking about two phablets that integrate an enviable screen with hundreds of devices. The design of the two mobiles is exclusive and without borders on their sides. Now, as far as screen terms are concerned, the OnePlus 5T acquires an OLED screen, while the LG V30 has a P-OLED panel. Both have an 18: 9 aspect ratio, but on higher quality issues, the LG V30 outperforms the OnePlus 5T by implementing FullVision and other specifications such as HDR 10 and Dolby Vision.
Hardware and camera
If we talk about power, no terminal is leading, since both mount an eight-core Snapdragon 835 . But, what they do differ, is in the RAM and also in the internal storage space. For its part, the OnePlus 5T has 6 and 8 GB of RAM respectively, while the LG V30 has a single version of 4 GB. And if we talk about internal storage, the OnePlus 5T integrates 64 and 128 GB , which is a plus point, since the LG V30 only has a 64 GB version.
On the other hand, the photographic section of both terminals also has several differences. First of all, the OnePlus 5T has a dual camera of 16 and 20 MP with a focal aperture of f / 1.7. On the other hand, the model V30 integrates double rear sensor of 13 and 16 MP , with focal opening of f / 1.9 and f / 2.2 respectively. Although both integrate dual rear camera, the differences are based on megapixels, focal aperture and other minor details, since the LG V30 presumes standard vision, wide-angle lens and optical image stabilization.
For selfies we also find differences. The 5T model has a 16 MP front camera with focal aperture of f / 2.0. Now, the V30 integrates a 5 MP sensor with focal aperture of f / 2.2 and wide-angle lens. Not bad, although the 5 MP of the V30 may be something unacceptable to many.
Prices and conclusions
The price range of both smartphones is quite large, as the OnePlus 5T will start selling for the sum of 499 euros in its version of 6 GB / 64 GB , and 559 euros the model with 8 GB/128 GB. And this is where the big difference comes in, since the LG V30 is for sale at 899 euros. The truth is that the price difference is high, so you have to wait to see how much the OnePlus 5T can offer when it is available. The V30 has impressed many with its performance and photographic section, but the 5T model has also been presented with good design, autonomy, cameras and cost.
