The new OnePlus 5T has just been introduced. In fact, you can read all the details of the new OnePlus. We have to acknowledge that, many of us have caught our attention. The question now is whether the OnePlus 5T is better than the OnePlus 5 , is it worth buying this new terminal?
Since last year they did with the OnePlus 3T, the “T” version has always been a small improvement over the original model. This time the improvement does not come in the specifications, but in design. What arguments does the OnePlus 5T have for us to buy it? Let’s look at a comparison between the OnePlus 5T and the OnePlus 5.
Is the OnePlus 5T or the OnePlus 5 better?
First, how are these two mobiles different? Basically, the difference between them lies in the design. First of all, the size of the screen is obvious, which happens to be 6.01 inches instead of the 5.5 of the previous model. However, this does not drastically change the size, all thanks to the reduction of frames.
Indeed, they have considerably reduced the lateral frames as well as the upper and lower. This makes the buttons, which were physical in the OnePlus 5, now go on screen. Also, the screen ratio has been modified. We no longer have the classic 16: 9, but it happens to be 18: 9.
Another difference in design of these two terminals of OnePlus lies in the fingerprint reader. You do not see it in the front, right? The OnePlus 5T incorporates the fingerprint reader on the back, just below the camera. This is another of the modified and is that although the sensors that make it up do not change, the camera module excels excessively.
Here all the differences between these two mobiles are finished, and that is that the specifications have remained exactly the same. We have in both models with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of internal memory UFS 2.1. As for the battery, it maintains the capacity of its younger brother, 3300 milliamps, with Dash Charge, of course.
Did I buy the OnePlus 5 or the OnePlus 5T?
Given that both terminals are virtually identical, except in the design section, which one is worth buying? On the one hand, the OnePlus 5, having a smaller screen, will have much more autonomy, given the half inch difference between both and the same capacity. However, given that they start from the same prices (499 and 549 euros), buying the OnePlus 5T will get a better screen, with fewer frames. However, we can not say yet that this is obviously better. Just differentiating in the design, everything will be a matter of personal tastes.
We’ll have to wait to see if the OnePlus 5T is better than the OnePlus 5. However, a boat soon, we do not recommend it. This is a great time to opt for the OnePlus 5 . Hundreds of users will want to get rid of it to buy the OnePlus 5T and its pre-owned price (and sometimes unused) will drop drastically. If we do not mind having a wide frame and the price matters, the OnePlus 5 is the best option. However, this does not mean that the OnePlus 5T is bad, much less. We simply do not see enough change to opt for it.
