With the Anet A3, objects measuring up to 15 x 15 x 15 cm can be printed.
For hobbyists, a 3D printer can open up completely new possibilities, and at least the purchase price of some models has now reached a level that does not tear any more excessively large holes in the household budget. This applies, for example, to Anets A3, which still wants to offer a good performance, which is to be underlined by a housing and an aluminium plate that provides stability.
Although the printer offers only a comparatively small pressure range with the work piece dimensions of 15 x 15 x 15 x 15 centimetres, nozzles with an opening of 0.1 to 0.4 millimetres should provide a high degree of precision, whereby the ABS / PLA / HIPS printing filaments are supported. Print data in G-code or STL format can be imported with a microSD card, which can be up to 16 gigabytes in size. A small LCD display is available for controlling the 3D printer.
