2018 Galaxy A3 could be the first compact with Infinity Display

Galaxy A3 2017 Samsung

Looks like Samsung has big things lined up for next year’s 2018. The South Korean company is currently the largest mobile phone manufacturer in the world. And he seems to want to maintain this privileged position for a long time to come.

In the last few hours, a rumor has been leaked that Samsung is working on a compact, all-screen smartphone with an Infinity Display design. According to the information we have been able to get to know, this is a device with a 5-inch Infinity Display. Therefore, we rule out the Galaxy A5 (2018) and the Galaxy A7 (2018) because they have a screen of 5.5 and 5.7 inches respectively.

A Mini version of the Galaxy S9?

Some users think it might be a Mini version of the Galaxy S9. Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S9 in January 2018, three months ahead of schedule, so we only have a few months to meet him.

However, to think that there might be a Mini version of this phone is a bit far-fetched considering that the South Korean company has not released a Mini version of the Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S7.

Although it does sound a little crazy, we don’t rule it out altogether. We know very well that Samsung enjoys surprising and puzzling users.

It’s probably Galaxy A3 2018!

Right now, the safest bet is that the reduced-screen phone with Infinity Display design is the Galaxy A3 2018, a low-end phone. It would be Samsung’s first compact phone with this design. A few weeks ago it was speculated that it might disappear but it may be the new compact with a high-end design.

The Galaxy A3 2017 has a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display. In terms of performance, it has an 8-core Exynos 7870 processor with 2GB RAM and 8GB of storage.

A-series phones are Samsung’s lowest range. The South Korean company covers all market niches with the different lines it has in its portfolio; from the A series, the lowest, to the S or the Note, a benchmark in the sector.

We will follow Samsung’s steps to find out which is the mysterious reduced-screen phone with Infinity Display format. What do you think of all this? Which phone do you think it is?
