Xiaomi can’t get any better. Yesterday we told you that Xiaomi is already official in Spain. Today we want to talk to you about the new Redmi 5 and 5 Plus, two phones that are generating a lot of expectation. As is customary with the presentation of this type of devices, their characteristics are filtered before the official announcement.
Everything seems to indicate that Xiaomi will take advantage of Singles Day, a very popular celebration in China that takes place on November 11, to present the phones.
Filtered features of Xiaomi Redmi 5
Rumor has it that the Redmi 5 will be a low-end smartphone. The Redmi 5 will have a 5.7-inch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It will have a Snapdragon 450 processor, 3GB RAM and 16GB of storage. As for the camera, the rear will have a resolution of 12 megapixels and the front will have 6 megapixels.
The price of the new Xiaomi Redmi 5 has also been filtered out. The device will cost 799 yuan; about 105 euros per change. There is speculation that the Chinese company will launch a higher version of 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage at a price of 115 euros per change.
Filtered features of the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus
As for the Redmi 5 Plus, everything seems to indicate that it will be a midrange device. It will come with a 5.99-inch screen with Full HD + resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels; and the aspect ratio will be 18:9. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 625. This processor is quite common in Xiaomi phones; it is incorporated in the Mi Max 2, the Redmi Note 4, the Mi A1… The Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus will have a double rear camera, two sensors of 12 and 5 megapixels respectively. This device will have Android version 7.1.1 as operating system.
The standard 32GB storage and 3GB of RAM will cost 130 euros on the market. Xiaomi will launch a superior model with 64GB of memory and 4GB of RAM for 170 euros.
