In the smartphone landscape there are currently many firms to choose from. One of the best doing homework is Gionee, which in September announced the new Gionee M7 and M7 Power, and now expects the Gionee M7 Plus.
This is a top variant, with a larger screen and a design very much in line with what we are seeing this 2017. With just a few hours to go before the M7s are launched in India, details arrive through a leak.
Gionee M7 Plus: 6.43 inches and bevel-free display
The Gionee M7 Plus will please those who prefer a large mobile phone, because it will come with a 6.43-inch screen, which will offer an immersive experience thanks to the bevel-free. Being large in size, it is logical for the firm to opt for an 18:9 aspect ratio. This ratio makes it possible to make better use of space, as the panel can be longer and narrower, making it easier to use the device with one hand.
These are the data coming from the filtered images published by Evan Blass, one of the best-known leakers due to its high success rate. Apart from the screen, it seems that the Gionee M7 Plus will have a section with a dual main camera and dual LED flash. The fingerprint reader is located underneath this dual sensor, as shown in the images.
The rear cover is striking, as it looks quite premium looking. It looks like it’s made of stainless steel and leather with gold accents. It is also rumored that this phablet will have wireless charging support, something that would make it more attractive and in line with the industry giants. According to this latest filtration, this phablet will come working with Android Nougat under Amigo 4.0, the brand’s customization layer.
It’s clear that Gionee is strongly committed to the M7 Plus, whose design will be different from the rest with that back cover. Price data is missing, but the launch is expected to take place soon.
