Honor, to the secondary line of manufacturer Huawei, continues to take steps forward through a complete catalog of mobile devices with good specifications and a balanced price. Now, not only are their phones renewed ( Honor 7X is known today ) but also their line of tablets with features that are not very common in this genre: Honor WaterPlay.
Honor WaterPlay is a new mid-range tablet that includes improvements to certain sections that are usually left out of this sub-genre of the market, while Smartphones are already a regular inclusion. Water resistance is what gives its name meaning, although there is also evolution in its audio system, design materials and fingerprint sensor.
WaterPlay Honor Features
In the first instance, Honor WaterPlay gains importance because of its ability to withstand contact with water, even when it is unlikely to be immersed in a tablet. The IP67 certification specifically allows submersion to one meter deep for half an hour without suffering consequences.
On the other hand, the sound also improves with the inclusion of four Harman / Kardon loudspeakers that assure a sound of high quality. Two of them are located in the lower area and two in the upper part, where there is also a headphone Jack. Finally, the manufacture of the model is based entirely on aluminum and even has a fingerprint sensor in its lower bezel, which gives an extra point in the final assessment.
Already in terms of traditional specs, there is a 10.1-inch panel with Full HD resolution, branded processor, Kirin 659 eight-core, followed by a Mali T830-MP2 GPU, versions with 3 or 4GB of RAM, 32 or 64 GB expandable internal storage via microSD, 6660mAh battery and Android 7.0 factory operating system with EMUI 5.1 personalization.
Honor WaterPlay has not yet detailed the territories in which it will be marketed, but it will be available in two colors, gold and silver. Its price is known only for the basic version of 3 GB + 32 GB, leaving at 256 euros to change.
