There is little left to finally meet the next stars of Huawei, the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro. On the higher version, it looks like it will have a screen with an aspect ratio of 18: 9. That is, like what we find in the Galaxy S8.

It is one of the companies that sells the most and its new high end terminals . So it is logical that the flurry of rumors and leaks does not end until the day of its presentation. By the way, it will be on October 16th. If a few days ago we knew that the Huawei Mate 10 Pro will have a camera opening similar to that of the LG V30, we now have more news about what your screen will look like.

Recently leaked in this photo that showed the phone in operation, letting you see a design with almost no frames and no home button. There is no trace of the fingerprint sensor on the front. It is also implied that it will be in the back of the terminal.

Huawei Mate 10 Pro will have an 18: 9 screen

As shown by the Italian portal Androidworld, new images confirm that the Mate 10 Pro (it is meant by the letters MT10) will have a screen with a ratio of 18: 9. This means that Huawei has decided to follow the trend shown by several factories during this 2017.

In the filtered photo we see a panel longer than the conventional 16: 9. That is, like the ones we can find on the Galaxy S8 or the LG G6, which already has facial unlock and mode on one hand.

Another test that confirms that the Mate 10 Pro will dodge the standard of 16: 9 to bet on 18: 9 comes from the company itself. As indicated from Pocket Now , screenshots provided by Huawei show the graphical interface of this terminal.

The intention was to teach a new software function that will come with the Mate 10 Pro. But the truth is that what most caught the attention was the resolution of such catches. In particular, we speak of a resolution of 1,080 x 2,160 pixels, a figure that confirms the ratio of 18: 9.

On the other hand, as the expert @evleaks points out, the one that receives the code name “Blanc” (it’s the Mate 10 Pro) could have been reduced in the photos and in fact it would have a resolution of 1,440 x 2,880 pixels (QHD). In any case, it seems confirmed that the Mate 10 Pro will display an 18: 9 screen. Will it be equal to its rivals?

Do you prefer 18: 9 screen or 16: 9 standard?
