Design

The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 and the LG V30 have a 6-inch display; the Galaxy Note 8 scales up to 6.3 inches. As for resolution, the LG V30 has the highest pixel density, 537 although this is not really relevant.

Characteristics

In the hardware section we did not find great differences between them. The processor is the same on all three phones, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. The RAM memory is 6 GB in the Mi MIX 2 and the Galaxy Note 8. The LG V30 is a little behind in this aspect, with 4 GB of RAM. Right now 4 GB of RAM is more than enough even for the most demanding games in the Google Play Store. However, thinking in the future, perhaps in 2018 the games of the official store of Android demand to make the jump to 6 GB.

As for the internal storage, the phone of the Chinese company wins by thrashing, with 256 GB of memory in its highest version but also has a version with 64 GB. The LG V30 and Galaxy Note 8 have 64 GB of internal storage, but they do support microSD card.

In the camera section, the LG V30 seems to have no rival on paper. Dual rear camera with 16 megapixel resolution and the largest focal aperture: f/1.6. The cameras in low light environments of the new flagship of the South Korean company are unparalleled although for now we believe that the camera of Galaxy Note 8 will be above this in a bestial way, we expect comparisons of DxOMark to leave doubts.

It is difficult to define which of these three phones wins the battle. However, if we have to stick with one is the Galaxy Note 8. It has an impressive screen and better rear camera than its rivals; in the rest of features like the processor or the battery capacity there are no big differences. Of course, at a price level Mi Mix 2 wins by thrashing both.

By way of conclusion, we are facing three big giants in the world of mobile telephony, who are waiting for a very promising future.
