After the new edition of the cable-bound in-ear headphones from the CKR series, Audio-Technica will be presenting three more cordless Bluetooth models as part of the IFA 2017:
The three In-Ears ATH-CKR75BT, ATH-CKR55BT and ATH-CKR35BT are aimed at beginners, middle and high demands and budgets with their different variants.
The flagship ATH-CKR75BT , with its 11.8mm drivers, ensures crystal clear, precise audio reproduction. The milled aluminum housing, which is lightweight and robust at the same time, is designed to help reduce internal oscillations that can adversely affect audio quality.
The lightweight ATH-CKR55BT is particularly suited to the mid-range segment with excellent sound insulation. In addition, the 10.7mm drivers should be equipped with brass stabilizers that minimize unwanted internal resonances and ensure clean, precise audio transmission.
The entry-level model ATH-CKR35BT with its 9.8mm drivers is the lightest of the new wireless in-ear headphones and available in black and silver. This model is also characterized by a dynamic audio performance with clear mids and highs.
All three CKR headphones support Bluetooth version 4.1, the ATH-CKR75BT and the ATH-CKR55BT also the aptX and AAC codecs ( ATH-CKR35BT only AAC).
With seven hours of recharge time and the ability to charge via USB, the three new In-Ears will be ideal companions on their way to work. An integrated smartphone controller with microphone serves the uncomplicated control of music and telephone calls, and the cable clip ensures a secure, discreet fit to the clothing, it says. The headphones should be delivered including carrying case.
The Audio-Technica ATH-CKR75BT will be available from October 2017 at a price of € 159 (VAT included).
