The new feature of the UMi Z is the new dual camera with two 13MP sensors with which Umidigi wants to position itself high above the smartphone cameras. This makes creative recordings possible, for example with the “3D Capture” mode or the “Live Photo” function introduced by Apple two years ago , in which the moment just before and after the actual photo is recorded in a short video sequence. Also possible is a subsequent change of the focus in the already shot image, as we have already seen in other mobile phones with dual camera.
The camera has a fourfold LED flash and is to provide even in poor lighting usable photos. The Selfie camera, also with a 13MP sensor, has a simple LED flash.
Otherwise, on the hardware side has changed little compared to the UMi Z. In the Umidigi Z Pro, the Helio X27 also features a powerful processor, with an additional 4GB of memory, the Deca Core is ready to play with most of the requirements. An SD card with up to 256GB can optionally be inserted into the 32GB memory, but at the expense of a second SIM card with which the memory card shares a slot.
On the outside, little has changed. Also the Umidigi Z Pro looks very chic, but now presents itself in elegant black and not more in silver or gold.
Meanwhile one can order the Smartphone in the usual China Shops. With around 230€, it is only insignificantly more expensive than its predecessors, for it one receives the improved camera as well as the complete support of the German LTE frequencies as before.
