This September we will have available for the international market the first 360 camera of the high-end brand Yi technology called the Yi 360 VR. A team that has two spherical lenses, one in the front and the other in the back, both with a wide angle of 220º and allow you to capture altogether 360º at very high resolution. A 360º format that we are currently seeing in many videos and gives the viewer the ability to operate the camera within limitations. This camera has a small format with about 1.2 × 53.2 × 29.6 mm and a weight around 170g which facilitates its transport and use in any situation.
The Yi 360 VR camera has as its heart an AMDV95 Chip, a Dual Core Cortex-A9 processor that handles a pair of 12MP IMX377x2 Sony sensors with an f/2.0 aperture that can capture up to 5760 × 2880 pixels in still photography and up to resolution 5.7K/30FPS through software. Also includes WiFi aC, Bluetooth 4.2 (BCM43455), 1430mAh battery Capable of holding 40 minutes recording at maximum resolution and double microphone. At the connectivity level we have a microHDMI port, a Type-C USB connector and a Micro SD card reader. At the bottom of your body we find a standard threaded tripod hole, at the top we find a small OLED screen of 96 × 64 pixels resolution where we display different data from the camera and on the sides control buttons.
Naturally the camera has its own APP with which we can even watch and transmit live video and update the camera firmware. Its body is made of plastic and is not water resistant.
