We have the first images of the Radeon RX VEGA 64 in its two flavors, the reference model based on RX 500 and a limited edition with metallic finish.
Radeon RX VEGA 64 is shown in its two flavors
The images have been leaked by the Anglo-Saxon site Videocardz and in them can be seen the Radeon RX VEGA 64, based on the new VEGA architecture that AMD has been preparing for quite some time to compete against Nvidia’s top-of-the-range graphics cards.
In the case of the standard edition, we can see that this graphics card will use two 8-pin connectors to feed, it will have three DisplayPort ports and one HDMI port, always talking about the reference model, we know that on models from different manufacturers this goes To vary.
The model still maintains the same sobriety that the last series of AMD RX 400 – RX 500 with a unique turbine and with hardly details on its casing.
This is the limited edition
In the case of the VEGA 64 Limited Edition RX, it reminds us a lot of VEGA Frontier, although here AMD bets on a metallic finish and with the VEGA logo printed directly on the casing in red.
We know that there is also a model called Radeon RX Vega 64 Liquid Edition, which as its name suggests, uses a solution with liquid cooling. We do not have photos of this model yet, but we do not think they take too long to filter it.
We recently saw some performance results from this graphics card, where parity was demonstrated with the GTX 1080 from Nvidia, something that may be a little disappointing after so much waiting.
The official announcement of Radeon RX VEGA would be during this weekend in the Siggraph, so stay tuned.
