The Snapdragon 836 will debut with Google Pixel 2

In recent weeks, we have been talking a lot about Pixel 2, the next Google phone. We have already told you about it on some occasion; Some days ago we told you that the Google Pixel 2 could be manufactured by LG. Well, today we come to tell you the processor that will mount the terminal: Snapdragon 836 Qualcomm.

A processor more powerful than the Snapdragon 835; The CPU and GPU of Snapdragon 835 and Snapdragon 836 are the same, although the clock speed of the latter will be higher.

Which phones will mount Snpadragon 836 after Google Pixel 2?

It was initially commented that it would be the Galaxy Note 8 the first phone to incorporate Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 836. But it will not be so. According to the latest information, the Google Pixel 2 will be the first device with this processor.

Something that is not really surprising considering that the Google Pixel was the first phone to incorporate the Snapdragon 821.

Once the Google Pixel 2 hits the market, we expect to see the Snapdragon on other mid-high-end phones this year 2017. Almost in complete safety will come in Xiaomi Note 3 as well as in the Mi MIX 2. In addition, if the Chinese company is encouraged to launch a new Mi 6S this year, maybe also mount the Snapdragon 836.

In addition to Xiaomi, OnePlus is another of the companies that we hope more that is decided by this chip. Last year 2016, the One Plus 3T came only six months after the OnePlus 3. Therefore, this 2017 we may see a  OnePlus 5T or OnePlus 5S.

The upcoming Qualcomm processors

Thus, the Snapdragon 836 will be the chip that feeds many of the telephones that will arrive in the second half of this 2017. The next 2018, will be the Snapdragon 845 the king of the processors; It is believed that the Galaxy S9 will be the first device to mount it.

There has also been talk in recent days about a Snapdragon 840 processor, which was seen on a Samsung device last week. However, there is no more news about him.
